They’ve also shifted to a hybrid mesh diaphragm commonly found in audiophile headphones. They’ve gone back to the drawing board with this one, redesigning the entire system to accommodate the 10mm larger driver. These headphones are bulky and “gamer” enough that you probably won’t be wearing them out of the house very often, but on the occasions where you do, you’ll at least be able to keep the mic almost completely out of sight (really, you’ll miss it entirely if you’re not looking for it).īehind the comfy leatherette is Logitech’s new 50mm Pro-G driver. They do get a bit warm over time, but it goes with the territory with leatherette. The padding is also deep enough so my ears never made contact with the speaker port. They isolate sound well without completely blocking out the outside world and enhance the already decent bass. New in this year’s model is the switch to leatherette ear cups. The G935 is clearly larger and, even though the picture only shows blue lighting, it’s fully RGB enabled. Starting with packaging, both headsets arrive in the usual Logitech grey and blue with big, beautiful product shots.
